EAST CANTON VILLAGE SPRING CLEAN UP
Thank you to all the local organizations and individuals who helped to make the East Canton Village Annual Spring Clean Up on Saturday, April 24, a success. Those participating included East Canton Rotary Members, Boy Scout Troop 36, Mt. Tabor United Methodist Men, Deville Apartments, Theophilus Bible Church, Daisy Girl Scout Troop 814; Jenise Marshall, Charlotte Williamson, Barbara Hall and Jackie Branch. Your efforts in making our village a clean place in which to live, work and play are truly appreciated.
EAST CANTON VILLAGE GARAGE SALE
Thank you to all those businesses, organizations and individuals who made the East Canton Village fourth annual garage sale on May 14 and 15, a success.
This year's warm temperatures and sunny skies brought out many shoppers to the over 60 sales in the village. Besides individual sales, groups participating included the Osnaburg Historical Society, T.O.P.S. 1459 and Mt. Tabor U.M.C. Youth Group. A luncheon was offered on Saturday at the historical society.
It is the village's hope everyone had a great day of meeting friends and neighbors, found some useful items, maybe even some treasures and that the sellers made a little extra spending money. All these bargains that exchanged hands also helped keep good items no longer used or wanted out of our landfills.
