EDITOR'S NOTE: The Marioriello Family wrote this to thank Sonny Fitzsimmons of Magnolia for his efforts in saving their kitten, which was trapped up in a tree. Although, Sonny was able to help, the kitten, unfortunately, did not live because of the extended time it spent out in the cold. However, the family was grateful that Sonny took the extra time to try to save a beloved family pet.

Dear people, we thank Sonny Fitzsimmons (Fitzsimmons) for saving our kitten Lucky.
We fed her and her sister lu lu since they were little babies. Sonny is our hinkly town hero. No one would help us but Sonny. He has a good heart. When daddy cut down the tree the kitty fell. Mommy brought her to us. We got her worm (warm) and hugged her. She was in the tree for four days, too long to be in a tree. Lucky died that night. We were all very sad, especially Jenny.
