ArtsinStark grant deadline is Nov. 7

If you are a Stark County artist, or representative of a non-profit organization serving the area, the time is now to propose your concept to ArtsinStark in hopes of being awarded a Special Project Grant this fall.

All applicants are asked to complete the Concept Form on the grants page of the web site (www.artsinstark.com) or pick up a copy at the ArtsinStark offices, 900 Cleveland Avenue NW, Canton 44702.

After a Concept Form has been received, grant applications will be provided which are also short and easy to fill out. Complete guidelines and answers to frequently asked questions are available by emailing office manager Anne Wadian at awadian@artsinstark.com or by calling 330-453-1075, ext 204.

Special Project Grants range from $750 - $3,500. The County Arts Council is looking for projects that are innovative and meet certain criteria including outreach and impact into the community.

Individual artists are also invited to apply for mini grants ($750) to be used to create a new and innovative project that impacts the community. Up to $35,000 is available for projects taking place between Jan Dec 2017.
