The Stark County Historical Society and McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will be celebrating its 70th anniversary on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at the museum.
A reception on the second floor balcony will be held followed by dinner in the Everhard Auditorium. A brief overview of the museum's history will be presented by archivist Mark Holland.
The speaker for the event will be Allyson Bussey, president of Visit Canton. She will speak about the "Power of Tourism" in Stark County.
