Artistic and executive director Cassandra Crowley announces Canton Ballet's 2016-2017 season.

Director's Choice will open the new season on Friday, Oct. 14, and Saturday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m. The mixed program of classical ballet, contemporary ballet and modern dance will offer creative and challenging new works by resident and guest choreographers as well as familiar favorites from repertoire.
Performances of Tchaikovsky's holiday masterpiece "The Nutcracker" will be Friday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 10, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m.
Canton Ballet's spring offering will be its full length family favorite "Snow White" on Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m. This enchanting fantasy with every child's favorite characters is choreographed by resident choreographer Angelo Lemmo. "Snow White" is sponsored by Sharon and William Luntz.
