Published: September 9, 2016 10:00 AM

Aultman Hospital will host its annual remembrance ceremony for local families who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss during the past year.

All family members and friends are welcome to attend the free ceremony Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery's Mausoleum, located at 4414 Cleveland Ave. NW in Canton.

A balloon release is planned, along with the reading of the babies' names. Aultman provides a headstone to commemorate the losses, which is placed next to the mausoleum. Additionally, those who received care at Aultman and experienced the loss before 20 weeks gestation received a complimentary cremation and burial.

Reservations for the remembrance ceremony are not required but are appreciated. Contact Melinda Wiles at 330-363-4250 or melinda.wiles@aultman.com for reservations or additional information. For additional resources, visit www.aultman.org//pregnancyandinfantloss.
