Administrator Edward Collins informed council that 75 water meters have been installed in the village. Collins went on to say how helpful residents have been, as he and his crew have been working to install the meters.

Collins also reported all old phone lines have been shut down, and new equipment has been installed and working.

Council member Reggie McGee on behalf of the finance committee asked council to consider cutting medical coverage inhale for employees in connection with eye glasses and dental work. McGee noted this would not save a lot of money, but it would be a start.
