SPAGHETTI DINNER SET

Waco Epworth United Methodist Church located at 2150 17th St. SE in Canton will hold its monthly spaghetti dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12. Spaghetti, apple sauce or salad, bread, beverage and ice cream will be served. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Carry outs will be available.

BACK TO SCHOOL TIME

Indian Run Christian Church in East Canton will hold a back-to-school night on Aug. 28 from 5-7:30 p.m. The event will include "Realm of the Reptiles" presented by Marissa Dubina, singing prayer, food and games.

PIG ROAST SLATED

The FaithKeepers Sunday school class of Otterbein United Methodist Church will hold a pig roast Sunday, Aug. 21 at 11:30 a.m. The lunch will include pork, barbequed pork, grilled meats, scalloped potatoes, green beans, beverages and dessert. The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 3-12 and gee for ages 3 and under. Carryouts will be available. Tickets will be available the day of the lunch.

The menu for Aug. 15-19 is as follows:

Monday: Chicken fajita with peppers, onions, tortilla, Mexican rice, buttered corn, juice and mandarin oranges

Tuesday: Meatloaf, pirogies with onions, broccoli, wheat bread, juice and peaches

Wednesday: Turkey with gravy, stuffing, french green beans, juice and fruit cocktail

Thursday: Tator tot casserole, peas, carrots, juice and teddy grahams.

Friday: Egg patty or sausage patty, oven browned potatoes, baked apples, English muffin and yogurt.

Margarine is served with all breads. Milk choices include skim, 2 percent or chocolate. All canned fruits are packed in juice
