Quail Hollow State Park will hold its annual "Christmas at the Hollow," Thursday, Dec. 12 through Dec. 14, 6-9 p.m., at the former H.B. Stewart estate at the park, located on scenic grounds at 13480 Congress Lake Avenue near Hartville.
Events will include a self-guided tour through the decorated H.B. Stewart home and a visit with Santa. Participants may also make a holiday ornament, toast marshmallows and enjoy a wagon ride through park's woods. There will be wood carving demonstrations.
Admission fee is $2 for visitors 18 years and older. Refreshments will be sold, including cookies and milk, popcorn, hot chocolate, wassail. Donations of new toys will be collected for the U.S. Marine Corp's Toys for Tots.
On-site free parking is provided. A shuttle bus will be available in case of bad weather and for guests who have difficulty walking from the parking lot to the manor house.
Visitors are advised to arrive at least an hour before closing. No reservations are necessary.
