PIKE TWP. --Because of snowy weather Monday evening, township trustees found themselves talking to an empty room.
Since the road supervisor and zoning inspector were also not in attendance, trustees discussed the restoration project at Melscheimer school. The new furnace has been installed, and rough electric work has been completed.
Fiscal officer Steve Knox reported he has received approval of temporary appropriations.
The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 19, due to President's Day.
