An Emergency Medical Technician class is being held at Mercy Medical Center Jan. 10-April 12, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-10 p.m. and alternate Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
EMT certification qualifies individuals for employment in the field of EMS. Ambulance services are in need of EMTs.
It is a course that will benefit college students entering medical or sports related fields.
The cost for the class is $825 which includes textbooks. No prior medical background or training is needed.
An Emergency Medical Responder course and EMT Refresher are also being offered. Call for details.
