The Press-News will arrive on Friday, instead of Thursday, due to the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.
The newspaper should arrive in subscribers' mailboxes Friday and on the newsstands on Thursday for the next two weeks.
In addition, early deadlines will be in effect for The Press-News' Dec. 27 issue, in observance of Christmas, and the Jan. 3 issue in observance of New Year's Day.
All news items must be submitted by noon, on Friday, Dec. 21 and Dec. 28, respectively.
The classified deadline is noon, Friday. The display advertising deadline is 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20 and 27.

Items may be dropped off at the office, 177 Curry St., Minerva, or at the drop box.
The newspaper office will close at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, and Dec. 31, and remain closed until 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, and Jan. 2, to allow the staff to enjoy time with their families.
