The new Press-News website is here and ready for you to see at www.the-press-news.com.
Check out the site while it is free for all viewers. In the future, most of the content on the site will be for paid customers.
We want feedback, so let us know what you think. You can contact us by clicking on Services on the bar at the top of the home page and then clicking on contact us. In that same area you will find easy-to-access forms for many events such as weddings, anniversaries, graduations, births, academic achievements and more.
As with our current site, readers will need to be logged in to read some content and make postings to articles. Paid users will be able to log in using their current log-in names and passwords. If a paid user encounters any type of problem migrating to the new site, they should contact us at 330-868-3505.
All free users will need to create a new account on the new site. Creating a free account allows a user to post comments on articles and other content on the site. Additionally, registered users can sign up to receive breaking news alerts via e-mail, as well as daily headlines. We encourage all readers to register on the site in order to receive the most up-to-date information.
To register on the new site, click on an unlocked article and scroll to the bottom of the story. Under "Want to leave your comments?" click "Register." Provide an e-mail, nickname (the name your comments will be posted by) and a password, agree to the Terms of Service and click "Register."
