Chief Deputy Rick A. Perez reported on Wednesday, Jan. 25, that deputies responded to an aggravated robbery at KeyBank, 3001 Cleveland Ave. SW, Canton. They were called out at 3 p.m.
With information from witnesses, deputies were able to locate at around 3:15 p.m., the suspect in the 2600 block of Cleveland Ave,. SW. Gillett L. Jones, a male, age 46, of 445 Wallace Ave. SE, Canton, was arrested.
Jones was expected to be charged with aggravated robbery a felony one and booked into the Stark County Jail.
Chief Perez credits the response of the deputies and information provided by witnesses for the quick apprehension of Jones.
