Constitution Committee plans fund-raising events

Published:

The Louisville Constitution Committee is busy planning events to help raise funds to offset the cost of the Constitution Day festivities.

The Queen's Royal Ball will take place on Friday, April 5, 6-9 p.m., at the Louisville Elementary School. This will include music provided by a DJ and a basket raffle. The dance will include fun for all ages. The ball will help pay for the Constitution Day Queen and her court to go to Washington D.C. in June. Flyer invitations will be going out at the end of the month to all elementary students and day care centers in the area.

On April 13, the committee will sponsor a steak dinner draw down at the Louisville Eagles. The last ticket drawn that evening will be for a $500 cash prize.

The event will also include live entertainment by the Wild West Band. Tickets are $35 for dinner and the entire event or $15 for the entertainment, without the dinner.

Tickets are available at the Hobo Cafe, the Juilliard and the Louisville-Nimishillen Historical Society or by sending a check to the Constitution Committee, PO Box 70, Louisville.
