ArtsinStark will keep the superhero theme with ArtSplash, a free family fun day of art-making, performances and learning Saturday, March 2, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Cultural Center of Arts.
The event is free and the parking is free. Food will be available for purchase.
It will include make-n-take projects with Camp Wakonda, Camp Tippecanoe, Weaver Child Development Center, Mercy Medical Center, the Canton Symphony Orchestra, Canton Idol, and the Massillon Museum.
Enjoy a scavenger hunt and get free admission to the Canton Museum of Art, face-painting from Nationwide associates, and performances by the Players Guild Theatre, VOCI, Mount Union's steel drum performers, students from the Arts Academy at Summit and dancers from the Canton Ballet.
Children can star in their own super hero movie and photo shoot thanks to the Canton Palace Theatre, Canton Film Fest and photographer, Robb Quicci.
See the K-8 SmArts Show, with awards announced at 1:30 p.m. SmArts is ArtsinStark's art integration program, linking arts and academics, and serving as the backdrop to ArtSplash.
