McKinley Museum is holding Inaugural Ball in March

The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum will hold its fourth historic Inaugural Ball on Saturday March 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate the 116th anniversary of President William McKinley's first inauguration.

The event will be held at The University Center at Kent State Stark.

"During President McKinley's presidency inaugurations were held in early March," said Joyce Yut, museum director.

The evening will begin with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres and will be followed by a sit-down dinner and music for dancing by the Bob Hill Orchestra.

Tiffany Steineck, featured dancer from Canton's Dancing with the Stars, will give a dance demonstration and Kim Kenney will present a program on fan language from the era.

This is a black tie event with period costumes encouraged. Christopher Kenney will be President William McKinley and Bob Leibensperger will be George Washington. Details are on the website www.mckinleymuseum.org.
