Don't delay in securing your audition time for "Louisville's Got Talent" sponsored by the Juilliard Arts Center.
The center is accepting applications for amateur performers, ages 6 and up, who live in Stark County. Solo acts, duets and groups may audition in any area of dance, music, singing, baton twirling, juggling, gymnastics and more.
Round-one auditions will be held on Saturday, March 2, at the Beacon of Hope Community Church located at 1101 E. Main St. in Louisville. Audition times are as follows (if a group, use oldest member as guide): 10-11 a.m. for ages 6-12; 11 a.m. to noon for ages 13-19 and noon to 1 p.m. for 20 years old and up.
Twenty-four finalists will then be chosen to move into the final round to perform in front of a live audience at the Louisville Middle School on Saturday, April 27. Cash prizes and a "fan favorite" prize will be awarded.
Audition times will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Whatever is performed and accepted at initial audition must be the same act performed at finals. A sound system, piano and plenty of space will be provided.
Applications are available at many places, as well as online. The applications can be picked up at any public library in Stark County. Students can also pick one up at their school offices at Osnaburg Local, Marlington Local, Minerva Local (upon request) and any Louisville area school.
