Dr. Lee James Bowman is now practicing dentistry in Louisville

Dr. Lee James Bowman II has moved his dental practice from Canton to 225 East Main St., Louisville, across from Kershner's Kards, Kandy and Kollectibles.

The previous office of Dr. Jerry Jackson has gotten a face lift and some technology improvements with the coming of the new doctor.

"My goal is to give patients the best long term care possible," stated Dr. Bowman. "I am committed to continuing the tradition of good care for the patients of Dr. Jackson."

The doctor is a 1985 graduate of Canton South High School, and a 1992 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, with a doctorate degree in dental surgery.

His father, Lee J. Bowman, was the band director at Canton South High School from 1967 to 2001. The elder Bowman can occasionally be seen helping out around the office.

The experienced staff at the dental office include Sharon Kibler, a hygienist of 25 years and Sandi Asbury, a dental assistant of 18 years. Mary Lou Bowman, mother of the dentist, brings 20 years of experience to the receptionist desk.

Hours for this dental office have been created to facilitate all schedules. The office is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays, with no lunch break; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

Dr. Bowman and his wife, Lindsay, have two children, Jaxson, age 2 and Payton age 4.

The doctor has a true love for music, having played in the OSU band and still plays the bass guitar when time allows. He also enjoys skiing but mostly finds himself riding bikes or playing with Lincoln Logs with his children in his spare time.

New patients are being accepted.
