There will be an oil and gas educational series program with the theme "Real Estate and Mineral Rights" Thursday, Jan. 24, 6:30-8 p.m. at the Kent State University Stark Branch, in Canton.
The program will explain property and mineral interests, exploring different typed of ownership, such as property, mineral and royalty, as well as additional topics, including curing land titles, types of conveyances and the laws governing oil and gas ownership and development.
Cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple.
The public presentations are designed to provide education to members of the community. Presented by knowledgeable attorneys at Roetzel and Andress Law Firm, each event will provide a factual forum with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions regarding the subject matter.
The Canton Small Business Development Center, Kent State University at Stark and Roetzel and Andress Law Firm collaborated to create the program.
