Following the success of its inaugural Oilfield Expo last year, the Ohio Oil and Gas Association is hosting its Second Annual Oilfield Expo, the only all-indoor oil and gas trade show in the nation, at Cleveland's I-X Center Dec. 5-6, 9 a.m.
The premier oil and gas industry event in Ohio, OOGA's Oilfield Expo is expanding this year to offer training sessions, technical workshops, industry expert panels and a Utica shale symposium.
The expo is expected to attract more than 3,000 attendees and 350 exhibitors, double the participants from last year's debut event in Canton.
"Our first Oilfield Expo was a remarkable success that exceeded our expectations," said Tom Stewart, executive vice president of OOGA. "The popularity and growth of the expo is concurrent with the rapid expansion of exploration and development in Ohio's Utica shale formation. The expo is a must-attend event for any business or individual interested in being part of the state's emerging energy-based economy."
