Debbie Chaddock, branch manager at KeyBank in Waynesburg, was honored last Friday for 40 years of service to the bank— all at the same branch.
Debbie, who graduated from Sandy Valley High School, began working at the bank on Jan. 13, 1970, less than a year after her high school graduation. She says the bank business had gone through a lot of changes during those years, most noticeably going from large, manual adding machines to computers.
However, it is the customers, over the years, who have always kept Debbie coming back to work day after day at the bank.
“It is the people, my customers. They are like family,” Debbie remarked.
Debbie and her husband, Denny, are the parents of two sons, Adam and his wife, Amanda, of Malvern, and Jason and wife, Darci, of Broadview Heights. They are also grandparents of one-year-old Quinlan, daughter of Jason and Darci. Debbie’s twin brother, Donny, and wife, Vonnie, of the Canton South area, were just two of the family members and friends who stopped in to help celebrate the day.
