Sandy Township
July 25—The police responded to an animal complaint in the 6400 block of Elson.
July 26—The police reported a theft of a utility trailer from the 5500 block of Battlesburg.
The police were called to a domestic incident that occurred in the 8700 block of Waynesburg Drive. Both parties were advised without further incident.
The police were called to a burglary in the 8700 block of Waynesburg Drive. According to the officer’s report, several firearms were taken from the residence. The matter is still under investigation.
July 28—The police were called to 8700 block of Waynesburg Drive for a private property accident report.
The police were called to investigate a break in complaint in the 7500 block of Brookford.
A 14 year-old male was arrested following a domestic violence incident. The suspect was transported to Faircrest Juvenile Facility.
July 29—The police investigated a domestic complaint that occurred in the 5800 block of Westbrook. The suspect was advised not to have contact with the complainant.
The police were called to investigate a break in attempt in the 7700 block of Wyandot Circle.
The police arrested a Sandy Township resident on an active warrant for domestic violence in the 8500 block of Elmfort. The suspect was transported to Waco where custody was transferred to Stark County Deputies.
July 30—The police investigated a two car accident that occurred in the 8000 block of Minerva Rd. There were no injuries and only minor vehicle damage.
The police arrested a 37 year old Akron resident for driving under the influence after the vehicle she was operating went left of center in the 5500 block of State Route 43.
A 32 year old male was arrested on an active warrant following a traffic stop for speeding. The suspect was also charged with open container violation.

July 28—The police reported that a vehicle was damaged during the storms that came through the area when a large branch broke and landed on a truck.
The police were called to investigate a hit and run accident that occurred in the 300 block of N. Main. There are no suspects at this time.
July 29—The police responded to a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Carrollton.
July 30—The police stopped a vehicle after it was observed driving left of center in the 500 block of Main. The driver was found to be confused and disorientated. The driver was later transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
July 20—The police were called to investigate a telecommunication harassment complaint. The suspect was contacted and advised not to contact the complainant. Village of East Sparta
July 31—The police responded to a burglary complaint in the 9500 block of Main.
The police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2200 block of Pine

East Canton Police
July 15—Officer provides a civil standby of a residence in the 300 block of N. Wood.
Takes a report of theft in the 100 block of E. Nassau.
July 16—Helps a motorist unlock their vehicle in the 300 block of E. Nassau.
Responds to the 600 block of N.Wood for a reported suspicious person.
Arrests a subject with an active warrant in the 300 block of W. Nassau.
July 18—Responds to a fight in the 100 block of E. Nassau
Repsonds to an alarm in the 100 block of E. Nassau.
Responds to the 100 block of 3rd St. for a reported suspicious person.
July 20— Takes a report of theft in the 100 block of E. Nassau.
July 21— Takes a report of vandalism at Werely Park.
Responds to the 300 block of N. Werley for a domestic dispute.
July 22— Responds to the 400 block of W. Noble for criminal simulation of money.
