According to Waynesburg Fire Chief Jim Marraccini, the house had probably smoldered for two hours before neighbors began noticing flames and called 911. He said several calls were received, including those from Waynesburg Police Chief Brian Haslam and area residents -- Charmalee Flott and John Ross.
