McKinley presents summer Science Splash

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will partner with the Independent Order of Foresters to present Summer Science Splash on Friday, July 9, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Activities include special science shows and demonstrations, kid’s crafts, solar viewing at the Monument, raffles, Planetarium shorts, monument tours, and displays by the HAM Radio Club and the Gem and Mineral Club.
 A picnic supper and movie snacks will be available for purchase.  Admission is $5 and the monument tours are $2. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Discover World cake will be served.
 Lisa Sabina Campbell, Plain Township Administrator, will be handing out information on watersheds, and a preview of the Museum’s new watershed exhibit will be on display. 
An outdoor showing of the movie McKinley Wars: Battle of the McKinley Monument, will conclude the evening.
