EMT classes announced

Published:

Two Emergency Medical Technician classes will be offered this fall by Canton City Schools Adult Community Education.

An EMT class will be held at Beloit fire station, in the Alliance area, and an EMT course will be held at Mercy Medical Center.

EMT-B certification qualifies individuals for employment in the field of Emergency Medical Services. No previous medical training is required for enrollment. EMS providers in the area are in need of EMT's. This is also a good supplemental course for college students majoring in athletic training, exercise physiology, HPE, fitness or pre-med.

The cost for the course is $625, which includes the cost of the text books and the shirt for clinical rotation.

For further information or to register for class, call 330-438-2556 Extensions 101 or 106.
