Deadline to register to vote is April 6 for May 5 primary

The deadline to register to vote for the May 5 Primary Election is April 6. You are qualified to register to vote if: * You are a citizen of the United States. * You are at least 18 years old on or before Nov. 3, 2009. * You will be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election. * You register to vote at least 30 days before the election. Register at: The Board of Elections, 201 third St. NE, Canton. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Special hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 6. Additional registration locations include: * Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Offices. * All public libraries. * All public high schools.
