Wage freezes for Village of Waynesburg Employees

Published:

Well the mayor, Ken Flesher may want you to think he is controlling costs with his newly appointed council. They left out a few details. Since Mayor Flesher has been in office he eliminated all the "Free" Labor by abolishing the GR worker program, where when citizens would get in trouble with the law they could work off some of their court ordered community service. And wage freezes are for everyone but the Dierick's. Mayor Flesher and his council have given Kyle Dierick two raises in the last 3 years equalling a 30% increase, and Francis Dierick has also received $5.00 more per funeral burial. Some hiring freeze, maybe the Diericks can pick up the deficits they say this town is having with the lack of a new levy. Telling the citizens you will be mowing less, snowplowing less, and not fixing streets to try to make us think you have no money is ridiculous, when you have money to pay Kyle money on the side to remove snow from the Gazebo when we have paid workers to do so. Pay close attention to the great amount of effort the council and the mayor of Waynesburg is going to better our community. So far its been lies and deception and if you think you can deceive us, your wrong there is public record. Your lies are catching up with you! Your "baffle them with bull isn't working." This town is full of good hearted people that care about Waynesburg, so start showing us that you are listening to all concerns from the town hall meeting you had and not just the few that show up at council because they don't have anything better to do. And we are paying our workers to plow you and your neighbors driveways? That's smart! At least Mary had intergrity, was fair and we had street lights!
