"We have three seniors and one junior with experience, so we should be very competitive," stated Malvern Head Coach Ted Majestic on his boys golf team. "However, we will have little room for errors on any given night."
Back are seniors Jaret Majestic, Zach Gamertsfelder and Jordan Browning; and junior Brandon Patterson.
Majestic averaged 41.5 strokes per nine holes a season ago, and was selected to the East District second team and the Inter-Valley Conference honorable-mention squad.
Patterson averaged 45.5, Gamertsfelder 45.8, and Browning 48.4.
Rounding out the team are sophomore Devin Kandel and freshman Lane Simpson.
"We only have six players out for the team and two of our players have little to no golf experience," noted Majestic. "Our lettermen will have to carry the load.
"We hope to continue our streak of 10 or more win seasons (currently at five years). We hope to improve each day and become as consistent as possible.
"The league will again be very competitive, but Garaway, Hiland and Strasburg look to be at the top with many experienced players returning."
